READY FOR OUR NEW SHED!~ AND CHRISTMAS!

I went to the gym this morning at 7:30 and Tony slept in till 8. He called me when I was on lap 12 and said he was on his way to D&B to get the gravel, but he forgot to take the ground cover we bought yesterday, out of the car. He said I should be done by the time he got back to the house.  And, I was! He started on it while I ate some breakfast. When I went out, he had it almost all down!

He'd taken up the tiles that we had around the raised garden. 

It's gonna be awesome!!

He bought a half a yard of gravel.

We are sur glad we have the gate at the back of the house. The guy's building the shed tomorrow will be happy about it too.

He unloaded several wheelbarrows full of gravel and leveled it out.

I'll still have a little spot on the right of the shed for a tomato plant.

Not sure how much sun it will get. Time will tell.

On my way back into the house to make lunch, I stopped and took a picture of my flowers in a pot on the patio. Still looking pretty good for November 6th. We are having unusually warm weather.

I made potato soup and Artisan bread for lunch. I put some sour dough in this one and it was good!

Tony had one of the tarts that Lubov brought over yesterday. I was full and didn't have mine. It's pretty.

I continued putting up Christmas and Tony went to Lowe's and got some edging so the rock won't spill into the dirt. Then he laid down the tiles again and we are ready for the guys to show up tomorrow.

Tony pointed out a Katydid in the gravel. Must be enjoying the warmth. Haven't see one all year, till now!

I got all my Christmas up, EXCEPT for the big Christmas tree. 

I want to start on it tomorrow but have to wait for Tony to bring it in and we also have to get the love seat out of the living room. I want to put it in front of the living room window this year. I'm tired of it being in the back room hidden. Besides, Tony has a big table set up right in front of where the tree was and I didn't like that. I hope I can start on it tomorrow. It's been a busy day & I'm pooped.
