RETIREMENT SURPRISE !~

 MY KIDS ARE SO AWESOME!!  This past weekend, on Saturday night, Tony and I were at our neighbors for game night. Tony said he wanted to come home early because he had an early morning meeting on Sunday. I was OK with that so we left shortly after 9. He immediatley sat down at the kitchen table and started preparing some notes for his meeting. I said, "I'm gonna go up and get ready for bed."  He says "Just brush your teeth" ... HUH?   I said "Did I have bad breath tonight"  he laughs and says "NO" ... so I head up stairs thinking "That was weird!"
Well, I no sooner get upstairs and the door bell rings.  I'm thinking it is our neighbors and we forgot something at their house so Tony can handle it. And then Tony yells up at me and says "Vernie, there's someone at the door for you" .... WHAT THE HECK?
I go down and there is my eldest son Scott and his wife Jill and my youngest daughter Heather!!
WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON??  Heather lives in Utah! One had a balloon and the other an orchid plant and Jill is video taping!!  Then Heather gives me her phone and had me watch a video she and her friend Wendy made while traveling to Idaho!

I've tried to download the video and have been unsuccessful (It was darling too)  but essentially they all pooled their resourses and are sending Tony and I to Utah to enjoy a dinner at the StateRoad Resturant in Park City, a David Archuletta Concert (awhhhh, my little heart throb) and a night at a resort there in that beautiful setting! I am beyond excited and words cannot express the love and gratitude I have for the FABULOUS FIVE!!
