It was the Primary Program today and it was wonderful! I love listening to the children and to hear their sweet voices when they sing. It was so good! The Presidency and teachers prepared them so well and it was such a joy to be able to hear them perform. Our Sunday School lesson was marvelous as well. Brother Porter is such a great teacher! We came home to have dinner at my house. I cooked a Pork Roast and it was overdone. I was so mad. The vegetables I did in the air fryer were not done enough. Lynn brought cooked beets and they were good and Joyce made her rolls and thy were the best part of the meal in my estimation. lol We started watching UNSHAKEN before we ate (while the rolls baked) and so after dinner, the ladies wanted to continue watching it while Tony and I went out to take out the rest of the garden because it's going to freeze tonight. Supposed to get in the 20's.
When I came in, the ladies were asleep in the chairs! lol
At 5, the ladies went over to Joyce's house to wait for us. Tony and I went to Scott's house to give them a couple of caramel apples to share. They were cooking breakfast for dinner.
We didn't stay long as Scott was going to take Jill to the airport at 6. She is flying back to get Claire. She and her boyfriend broke up and Claire is a mess. Hope it works out and they have good roads coming home. We then came back home and picked up Joyce and Lynn and headed over to Curtis & Deedra's.
We had apples to share with them too! They had been making cookies . Alice and Charlotte had been helping.
We then played Golf! Our favorite game!
Jack played us a tune on his French horn and we saw a video of Charlotte's swimming test. She swam the entire length of the pool at the rec center. ACROSS & BACK! It was pretty impressive! At 9, we came home and it's now time to get ready for bed.
It was a good Sunday!
