FROM ONE EVENT TO ANOTHER!~

Busy day expected so we got up at 7am and headed to the gym. We just walked today but it still takes over an hour to get the 10,000 plus. When we finished, we drove to the church where the Silver Sweethearts was going to  take place just so I'd know which roads to take. There is a lot of road closures around Nampa for one reason or another so rather than take the straight shot right down Northside Blvd. I had to turn this way and that to get there. Once in my head, we went home and ate a piece of toasted banana bread and a glass of milk so we could take our vitamins. Then at 10;25, I picked up Joyce and then Lynn and off we went. It was still foggy out but not as bad as earlier.
I'm not sure which Ward was in charge but it was a Fall Theme and Gratitude. It was so nice. This sister read a story about a sister who comes to the activities. The sister is in a wheel chair and has a service dog.  The story was all about her little dog (a Yorkie) who just recently died. It was an incredible story and had everyone in tears. It was quite incredible.

It was so nice to see so many familiar faces and to see some who hadn't been out for quite some time.

The lady in the center with the little Yorkie on her lap was the one who the story was about. She has a new puppy now. Lunch was several different soups with a slice of toasted French bread. I got a sweet chili and it was so good.

The desserts were Halloween based. It was fun!
When we finished, I asked Lynn and Joyce if they were OK with us leaving because we were going to take them out to the orchard to get apples and then at 2:30, I would be going to Meridian again to pick up Penny from work. Jenni said she was planning on doing it but she has taken her to work the past couple of days and I told her we would go because tomorrow as I won't be able to on Wednesday. I am subbing at the Temple tomorrow and won't be done till 3:15.  When we got home from the luncheon, Tony was putting the picture frames together. He got 3 of them done.

We set them in the back room till we have time to set the puzzles in them. Then we took off for the orchard.

I bought more Granny Smith because I want to make more caramel apples. I gave all of them away and want to make more. It was a fun project and it was so cheap to buy them at the orchard. This many only cost me $3 dollars and some change. Not bad!! \
We dropped off the ladies and their apples and then headed to Meridian to pick up Penny. We dropped her off at the Shelter and we are now going to rest an hour. Tony will be going to Anna's soccer game and I am going to a RS meeting.

I was on my way to the RS meeting when Jenni called me and said something came up and she had to cancel. I came home and read my book till Tony got home from Anna's game.  Watched a little TV and am now going to bed.
