SUPER SATURDAY!~

IT RAINED LAST NIGHT!!~ 

I love waking up to the sound of rain!! It was still coming down good when we got up to go to the temple at 4:30. However, when we left a little after 5, it had pretty much stopped. It was a great day serving. I got to train a new Sister who is going to be an ordinance worker. She was awesome. Her husband just passed away a month ago so she was still a little bit tender. So sweet!

It was cool and cloudy when we got released but a bit sunny. We stopped at the Costco close to the temple and got a few vitamins we were out of, then headed home.

Tony went out after changing clothes, to work on the barrier he built around the transformer for Shawn and Joyce. It sits on both properties.

Shawn came out to help him and they got things taken care of. While they were working on it, I cleaned out my fridge and then the freezer that is in the fridge. I got rid of a bunch of old stuff and it looks soooo much better!! I went out to help Tony and Shawn a bit. I helped put down the weed barrier by holding it while tony cut and then I laid it and they started putting rocks on it.

They had bought four bags of rocks and had to go back and buy two more.

It sure looks better now. Shawn will plant some grass around it in the spring.

When they finished, the two guys went in and cleaned up and then we went to APPLEBEE'S to have dinner.

I haven't been there in a long time and I wanted the Oriental Chicken Salad! Tony and Shawn got Ribs and Suzette got chicken.

It was a nice evening. We came home and dropped them off and then went to Lynn's to see if we could get her heater going again. We also got her two little space heaters down from the shelf in the garage. She may have to have Brother Preece take a look at it when he goes over on Wednesday of next week.

 It was a good day!
