DOCTOR APPOINTMENT

I had a doctor appointment at 9am this morning so I got up at 7:30. Tony was down on the couch. He ate some coconut cake around 7 or 8 and it was too much for his tummy. Poor guy! We headed tot he appoint about 8:40 and the doctor is going to increase the strength of my inhaler. He said my last blood test showed that my body is still fighting something (he thinks it's Asthma or allergies) He is having me come in for another blood test in January to see how things look after the cold weather hits. After the appointment, we went to the Rec Ctr. and I walked outdoors. Had to wear my jacket the 1st two laps  and then I was able to take it off. We just walked today.
There was a gal on the track riding a hover board (or whatever they call them) ....She kinda got in a rut on the side of the track and got off into the grass. I just thought it's funny to see people walking for exercise and then to see someone riding one of these. lol
We mowed lawns when we got home. I think it will be the last time this season. Tony did Joyce's and I did ours. He's at his mom's now.

The cement barrier Tony put in last week is curing good and it looks so nice. Soon it will look like an extension of the  berm barrier.

The grass is coming back and looks a bit better but in the spring, we're going to kill it all and start over. Front & back!
I was able to pick 3 more Butternut squash, 3 cucumber's and 3 big tomatoes today. There are still tomatoes and 3 more Butternut squash left in the garden. I want them to ripen up another week and then  I'll pick them. There are actually more than that left but I don't think the super green ones will ripen so will go to the trash when the garden gets cleaned out in a couple of weeks.

I am amazed at how many squash I got with one plant!!

I picked a bunch of Marigold seeds today as well. It takes a while for them to get started in the spring, but when they do.....they produce a beautiful border for the garden. If anyone wants seeds, let me know. I have plenty!! lol

OH AND DID YOU HEAR???
STAMPS ARE GOING UP TO .63 CENTS THE 1ST OF THE YEAR!!  That makes me so sad! Things are getting ridiculous.
Snapchat helps me show how I feel about it! lol

Tony called me around 3:30 and asked if I would bring his drills over to his mothers so he could make her wood rack stand up better....it was leaning!! I did and then had to push on the rack while he secured it with a couple of boards. It stands up a lot better now. He had me take his tools home and then he loaded up his saw and the other things he was using at her place. He went by the church and dropped off the quilting frames that Lynn had alongside her house. Then he came home for dinner. He has a meeting at 5:30.

The mail came just before he got home and Ernie Spinks got our rings done and he mailed them to us. I love them! He also made us a pen out of the same wood from the Holy Land. I love them!! It cost $17 something just to mail them to us and he didn't put in a bill. I had to send Holly a text and ask her how much we owe him. I know they were at least $100 a piece but I don't remember exactly! I'm not sure if he'll charge us for the pen because we didn't order it BUT, I'm happy to pay him for it. Even the boxes they came in are more beautiful than the one my diamond came in!! SERIOUSLY!~

I love the certificate of authenticity that came with them as well. Tony and I are only going to wear the rings to the temple and to church. We should be very careful not to get them wet or to get lotions on them. Etc. They mean as much to me as my Widow's mite.
Well, I'm off to Relief Society.....

We had two sisters sewing the activity quilts....
Then all the sisters picked a table. Some made button strands...

Some made little circles with ribbon....
Some made pockets with a crinkly paper inside and some made strands of yarn

FUN EVENING!~

Then there's a zipper on one side. It's for people with disability's. Something to keep their hands busy. I brough one home for Lynn. She wants to give it to Alivia for her office.  Home now and time for bed. We're headed to the orchard tomorrow early.
