Woke up at 5am this morning. Grrrrr. I listened to President Nelson's talk on OVERCOMING The WORLD SEVERAL TIMES! Tony got me this little speaker (like Deedra's) and I love it.
It's just perfect for sitting on my couch and putting the conference talks on my phone and bringing it through this little device. Works great! I was just finishing up for the 4th time when Tony came down to eat some breakfast.
Tony, Jess, Diane and Lynn and Joyce left about 8:30 this morning to go to the temple and do a couple of sessions. Before Tony left, Chris called to check up on me. (Bless his heart) so while I was on the phone, Tony looked out the back window and saw this adorable little bunny in our yard!
That's a first!! It's almost hard to see. He blends in with the winter colors so well!
But he was so cute and I'll take a visitor in any form!
After Tony left and I finished with my phone call from Chris. I am so happy for him. He has met the sweetest girl. Her name is Norma.
She's beautiful!! AND,
she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
She has sent me the nicest texts with encouraging words and love. She sent Scott home with some soap and some lavender spray for me when Scott went down to El Paso for a football game. She is just so thoughtful and kind! Haven't even met her BUT, I love her already!! Can't wait to meet her!
When Tony got home from the temple, he hurried and changed his clothes and then we picked up Aunt Joyce and we met Lynn, Jess and Diane at SMOKEY MOUNTAIN PIZZA for lunch.
It was more crowded than we anticipated but I was careful and wore my mask until I ate and then put it back on when I finished.
After we ate, we came back to our house and I had some apple strudel and chocolate chip cookies to share. Then Jess took a nap and the rest of us played SKYJO, a new game that Lynn gave us for Christmas. It's a bit like GOLF and it was fun.
I WON!! lol
I WON!! lol
THE CHOSEN CHRISTMAS SPECIAL
that Tony and I got for Christmas. We'd seen it in the theater last Christmas, but we purchased it along with our Chosen Mugs. We like to support the show. It was a nice evening.
