HAPPY NEW YEAR !

It was a quiet evening on New Year's Eve. Like I'd said earlier, we were going to go to Lynn's but after their night getting stuck at Jump Creek and then having to clean the car and buy groceries and eat dinner, It was just too late to go over.

I was awake at midnight but it was NO PARTY! lol  Just reading on the couch and listening to fireworks. It wasn't too bad. Nothing like the 4th of July! Our church now starts at 1:30 in the afternoon so once Tony was up, I fixed us some fried eggs, fried potatoes and a piece of toast. Then I went up to shower and dress. We read our Sunday School lesson and then watched
Music & The Spoken Word
before Tony picked up Joyce and went to church. He gave me the Sacrament before leaving for church and I then zoomed church.  When he got home, we went to Lynn's to spend the afternoon with Mom, Jess & Diane and Joyce.

The table was set so pretty. Diane made Chicken Tetrazzini. I made a salad Joyce made cookies and ice-cream. We also brought over a pumpkin pie.  It was a great dinner!

Mmmmmm Good!
After dinner, and cleaning up the kitchen, we sat down and watched a movie on BYU TV. I only slept 4 hours last night so slept thru part of the movie. I get it when I can.

Then we played Mexican Train, had pumpkin pie and enjoyed the rest of the evening till 10 o'clock.

We all won at least once!

It was nice. Jess and Diane are leaving tomorrow to go home. There are storms in Utah so they are taking off in the morning. I was expecting Austin, Kate and Baby Emma tonight but they decided to stay the entire day today with family in Astoria, and are driving the entire way back tomorrow. That's a long drive from Astoria to Provo Utah, but they are young and can do it better than me. lol
HOPE ALL OUR FAMILY HAD A HAPPY NEW YEAR.
