READING & VISITS!~

I got a way better sleep last night than I have in a while. I did wake up after 4 1/2 hours.  I played on my phone a bit and then picked up the book Cynthia brought over to me.

It's a fantasy but pretty darn good. I am enjoying it. I read for a while and then got drowsy and was able to get a couple of more hours. I finally got up when Tony came downstairs and left for the gym. I got dressed and put away what little Christmas I had put out. Which wasn't much this year. Didn't take me long. lol  I then folded up the blankets that Kate & Austin used when they stayed with us the 2 times. They decided to drive all the way back to Utah today so there was no need to keep the stuff out. When Tony got home, we deflated the air mattress and folded up the baby bed and put it all away. Then I got out the vacuum and went over all the downstairs. Tony did the steps for me and cleaned off the ceiling fans. I was exhausted by the time we finished. He had a couple of errands to run, so I sat back down and read some more. I'm over half way through and I think I'll finish it in the hospital tomorrow while I am getting the chemo infusion. It will help pass the time. Around 4 o'clock I fixed up some stir fry veggies and chicken and put it over rice. We ate and then Deedra came over and I gave her the New Years card. Had a nice visit with her and found out they are leaving in 2 weeks for their new home in Washington. Makes me sad but I know it will be a great move for the kids. They are having an open house in a couple of Saturdays. I hope I'm well enough to go. If not, she said they would make a special visit to me. SWEET!~

Around 6 o'clock this evening, Shawn and Suzette came over to visit. We haven't seen each other in a long while. We text and call on the phone but they asked if they could come over for a couple of hours. They are both over their colds so we said "sure"! He bought a new game for Suzette for Christmas called QUIX and he wanted us to learn it. Took me a while but I think I have it down now and it was fun.

After 4 rounds, we quit and were just talking and he went a head and ordered it at AMAZON and said it would be delivered to our house tomorrow. MERRY CHRISTMAS~  So sweet of them! Such good neighbors. They said if I needed anything while Tony is in Lewiston for Joel's funeral, they will help me out.  I'm pretty sure I'll be fine but it's nice to know they are here for me.
It was a good day! Time for bed. I've got a big day ahead of me tomorrow. Hope it goes well!
