ON MY OWN

I woke up at 2:30 this morning!  Could not go back to sleep so I started reading a new book. Finished the GREEN RIDER yesterday in the hospital. I read till after 5am and then dozed off till 8. I went upstairs to find Tony getting ready to go to Lewiston. Evidently, Lona's 2nd flight was canceled as well, due to weather so the 4 of them (Tony, Lynn, Joyce and Jeff) all took off for Joel's funeral at 10am this morning.

This is gross but the last BIG scab on the heel of my foot came off while I was getting dressed this morning. They are just the weirdest  things. Glad they are going away.
It leaves red spots but I assume eventually, my feet will look normal again.

Still have one BIG one on my left foot and still have smaller ones on the bottoms of both feet.

This is my right foot and all I have are red spots where the BIG ones were.....

And some small ones on the bottom. When they are totally better, I'll cash in on my Christmas gift from Tony! A nice pedicure! It will be heaven!!

After Tony left, I started a big pot of chicken noodle soup. I had boiled and de-boned a roasted chicken from Costco that we had had two meals of, and wanted to have soup. Then I gave a container of it to the Jarrett's and I'm sending some home with Scott when he stops by today. Jill and Scotlyn caught the influenza bug from him so I thought she might not feel up to cooking.  He and Traci both had it but Scott is better now. So is Traci.

I also made some zucchini, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. They are pretty good and I need to use up stuff from my freezer so this summer I can start storing again. lol So far today, I have felt pretty good. Although I guess my breathing is still bad. I had to laugh. I had gone upstairs this morning to dress and to tell Tony I had labs scheduled on my calendar for my appointment with  Hansen on the 11th.  BUT, I also have labs scheduled on the 9th for my next infusion. So Tony told me to call Dr. Hansen's office and ask if I could just do them on the 9th and not get poked twice. I went back down stairs and called while walking. When she answered, I told her my dilemma  and she said "ARE YOU OK?" I said yes, and she said "YOU NEED T SIT DOWN, YOU SOUND LIKE YOU JUST DID A MARATHON!"   lol.  I guess I am used to breathing so hard lately because of all the crap that has been in my lungs. Hope these infusions help that too. Long story short, I can just do labs on the 9th. YAY!

Scott came to see me this evening. We had a nice visit. I sent him home with the soup and some cookies. I'm waiting to hear from Tony and hear about their trip to Lewiston. Hope the drive went well. I also got a call from Zella and Larry checking up on me, as well as texts from my siblings,  & Effie Dickerson. Sweet friends
I feel pretty good about my accomplishments today.
I'm gonna chill now and watch a movie. Just ate a bowl of soup and I'm ready to kick back and chill.
It was a good day~
