BEAUTIFUL SPRING DAY....FINALLY!

I didn't sleep too good last night as I ate Pizza too late at Lynn's. When I finally got to Lynn's after my RS meeting, they were all done BUT of course, I wanted pizza, even thought it was 8:30 at night! I paid for it! Ended up on the couch because it felt like I was going to have acid reflux. Consequently, my sleep score was only a 79. BOO!~  So I slept in a bit and we didn't get to the gym till after 9am.  I walked my 4 miles and visited with several ladies. I walked with Ina last and she told me the Book Mobile was going to be at the gym at 11:30. I wanted to see it BUT we had a busy day planned so I didn't stick around. I figured I'd see it when we left Walmart and drove back by the gym, BUT I forgot to look! lol

So I looked it up on Google! It is pretty cool alright but I'll keep buying books at DI! lol Then I don't have to worry about returning them! At least now I can tell Ina that I saw it! We came home and ate a bowl of cereal and then I got another Butternut squash and recipe and birthday card ready to deliver. (Last one too) Tony brought the raisins to Joyce and got her gas can and we headed out again. We dropped off the birthday gift 1st, then we went and washed the car and then went to Costco to get gas in the can. On our way home, Zella called and wanted to know if we were home. we said, we'll be there in five minutes.
They showed up shortly after we got home. I had enough time to start mixing up my cookies for tonight and Tony started mowing Joyce's lawn. He came home when they showed up and we visited for about an hour. Deedra called and said we were going to BBQ brats and dogs at 4 (it was almost three) so Larry and Zella left.
I finished mixing up my cookies.

And started baking while Tony finished mowing Joyce's lawn.

I got three batched baked and then headed out to pull up my Marigolds. It should have been done last fall but I just wasn't feeling good enough to do it.

Tony came and helped me finish. we have seeds
ALL OVER NOW!
I'll have Marigolds coming up everywhere this summer! lol

I can't wait till my BASKET OF GOLD is in bloom! It is going to be beautiful!!

I was happy to see this one come back. It was very pretty last year. Don't ask me the name cuz I can't remember.

This is Hyacinths and lilies. I thought I had all the Hyacinths out and put in a planter pot but evidently not! There may be some more digging and transplanting coming next week.

The Hen & her Chicks is starting to come out of hibernation!
YAY!~

We then decided to cut down the fake trees, as their leaves are
 ALL OVER THE YARD
all summer. As soon as a wind hits, they come off. We'll clean out the rocks next week and I am going to plant Begonias in both planters. They will thrive on this side of the house!

Good thing I have a GREAT GARDENER!!

The recycle bin is full!! Because they are plastic and wood, we think they are recyclable!
HOPE SO!!

DONE & DONE!

My new temple shoes were delivered while we were working! Tony loves his and says it feels like walking on air! Excited to try them out tomorrow! I came in and put my cookies in a tub and we are now going to Lynns for one last evening with Deedra and the kids. She's going home tomorrow.

We had a lovely evening. We ate dogs and brats, macaroni salad, chips and grapes and cookies. Then the kids all played downstairs while we played Golf upstairs. Deedra had to stop and take Jack and Porter (his friend) to Young Men's and then we continued to play when she got back. Then at 8:30 or so, she had to go pick them up and take the little girls friends home, so we decided to come home too. We have to get up early for the temple so need to get out rest. We're OLD! lol

Alice & Charlotte with their friends . They use to live right beside Curtis & Deedra when they lived here.
There was a FULL moon when we came home. It was HUGE. My camera doesn't do it justice. Got all our plans made for Easter dinner. Now to get all the biscuits and gravy done tomorrow after we go to the temple and then to the gym. I think I'll  be up all night!
