IT'S A BAKING DAY!~

Well, I opted to not go to the gym today because I had to bake drop biscuits for the Easter breakfast tomorrow. I got started on them as soon as Tony left for his workout.
They were super easy as all they called for was flour, baking powder, salt and Crisco. Mix it all up to pea size pieces and then add the milk. Mix it till just wet and drop on to the baking sheet.

Jenni told me to only bake them for 10 minutes so I did the 1st batch but I felt like they needed a little more color.

So 7 batches later, I was done and I like the ones with more color better. I got 81 biscuits done! I  put them in a lined Costco box and covered them with cellophane and then put them into a new white garbage bag. I was cooking my last batch when Tony got home from the gym and the store. He bought me 2 more bags of flour and a meat chopper. (I wanted it yesterday when I was making the sausage gravy) but then told him my flat wooden spoon was working fine. He bought me one today anyway! SWEET!~

He changed and went out to thatch and rake and mow Joyce's lawn. I drove over to Jenni's and delivered the biscuits.

When I got home I took the picture of Tony and then I took one of my Hyacinth. It's the only flower blooming so far. lol However, it's back to being windy and cold and it rained a little bit. Not much and it didn't make Tony stop so that is good. He's mowing now and then he'll be in to eat.

I filled my cookie jar again!

Then I chopped up veggies and some Canadian Bacon for UDON Noodles! I made a sauce to cook them in and will cook it in my Wok when he comes in. It doesn't take long!!
Want those veggies crisp! Lynn came by and gave me a sweater. She had a pair of shoes as well but they were too tight. After she left.....

I went up and did my nails! YAY!  Finally got to them!
I wrapped Scott's birthday present and got it ready to go as well as a card and money for Mostyn.  I think I'll give it to them both on Sunday (although his birthday isn't till the 14th but Mostyn's is the 11th ) I just made Scott a CHATBOOK of their trip to San Francisco. Hope he likes it! Now, I'm doing a load of laundry. I washed a couple of coats that needed it.
Tony came in finally around 4:30 so I cooked up the UDON noodles and stir fried the veggies. We had just sat down to eat and Kim Haverfield came over because she is here to pick up Joyce and take her to Twin Falls for Easter. We had a great visit and Tony kept eating. I didn't because it felt rude to me. lol After she left, I warmed mine back up and ate.  It started to rain and it was coming down good. Tony is so glad he got the yard done before it happened. The rain has already greened up the lawns! We got our showers done and now are going to relax for an hour and 1/2 and then go to bed. Looking forward to seeing Christa and the boys tomorrow afternoon after our Temple shift..
GOODNIGHT!~
It was a good productive day!
