TUESDAY.... LAWN DAY

I had to do labs this morning for my doctor appointment next Tuesday. We got up and left for the hospital about 7:45. Tony wanted me to wake up Nikki and ask if she wanted to go to the rec center with us immediately after. I told him I didn't want to wake her up as she was out last night and didn't come home till we were in bed asleep.  So, we went to the gym after and walked only today. We both did 4 miles. Well, Tony did a little more than that because he was done before me. It took a lot longer to do labs this morning, as they were very busy so we didn't get home from the gym till after 10. Nikki was still asleep. lol  I'm glad I didn't wake her. I made sour dough pancakes with the starter she gave me. They were good. Then she went up to shower and we went out to mow lawns. I did ours while Tony did Joyce's. After I was done mowing, I watered my pots as a couple of them aren't hit by the sprinkles. Tony came back after finishing Joyce's yard and sprayed weeds and then left for Lynns. He has a meeting at 5:30 tonight and so far I haven't heard if we are having one or not. Jenni was in Maui all week and just got back late last night so she may have jet lag. lol Nikki and I plan on making sour dough bread later anyway so I hope we don't have a meeting. I came in to rest and got a call from my brother. I'm so excited because he and his wife are coming for a visit the end of the month.  I came upstairs and got on the computer and got the test results back already. I think things are continuing to improve. I'll be glad to see Dr, Keller next week. I want to ask him about my feet. They hurt so bad and it's painful to walk......especially after I've walked 4 miles and then mow a lawn. lol Nikki's funny. She just sent me a text and said she was leaving for a while. She was already gone when I got it.

I came up to mess around with a new purse die I got and make cards to match. They are still a work in progress! Then my door bell rings.....I go down and it's my Russian friend, Lubov. She got notice from Costco that her glasses were in and wanted me to take her over. She doesn't have a Costco card. I thought Tony had taken the car to his Mom's to mow so I told her I' have to wait till he got home. So we are visiting and she says she locked her keys in her apartment and can't get in. Her husband is in Boise at an appointment. I say, she can just hang around till he gets home. Then I realize Tony took the truck. It's not in the driveway!!  Dumb me. Hope she didn't think I was trying to get out of it. The garage door was open and she could see my car when she came up. lol Anyway, we get in the car and we go to Costco. Afterwards, I need milk, cilantro and a red onion so we go to Winco. She buys some things as well. We come home and I start to cook dinner. I made chicken taco's and Tony's still not home from Lynn's. I call him to tell him dinner's almost ready. He  says he's helping his mom with something and will be home soon....20 minutes  later I call him again. He says I just pulled into the driveway. Will be in soon. Another 10 minutes go by and finally he comes in. It's around 4:30 by now and Luvov is still here so I invite her to eat with us. 

Nikki was probably starving. lol We eat chicken taco's and the rest of the watermelon that Lubov brought over yesterday. Tony has a meeting at 5:15 so hurries upstairs to clean up. Nikki leaves to go visit some friends and then later they are going to the game place in downtown Boise. I have a meeting at 7 o'clock tonight. Lubov finally gets a call from her husband a little after 5 and says he's at Fred Meyers so she gathers up her groceries and goes home!

I finally come upstairs and finish  ONE card I was working on. Sure didn't get anything done this afternoon. Nikki and I decided to make the sour dough bread tomorrow.  Now, I've got to clean up for the RS meeting. I just wanna rest. My feet hurt! My heart hurts!  My mom is not doing well. She found out she has glaucoma as well as the cataracts so they said she has to go to Portland to a different doctor. She is very depressed and I am so worried about her. Rick and Wendy are so good to her. I appreciate them so much!

I got a 2nd purse & card done (correctly this time) and then I got a text from Jenni saying that Carrie has to meet with Sister Mendoza tonight for the RS Board Committee, so no meeting for us. They are planning the Mother's Day surprise for the sisters on Mother's Day. No skin off my nose. I'm actually kinda glad! lol
