We went to the gym this morning fairly early. 7:45 start time. We did our 4 miles and Pat and I had a good visit. I complained to her about our insurance delima. I agree with Pat. We need to pay the extra amount and keep our Blue Cross so we can keep our special doctors. I DO NOT WANT to lose Dr. Keller. As far as I'm concerned, he saved my life and I want to stay with him!! I don't want to change doctors and I don't want Tony to lose his cancer doctor either. I'm hoping that when we go to talk to Garrett next Thursday, we'll change back to Blue Cross. We'll see!
We stopped at Lynn's on the way home to say goodbye to Diane and Jess. Yesterday, when we stopped, Lynn said she was going to go home with them and stay with Debbie for a while. Then last night, she called us and said she changed her mind and she didn't want to go. She wanted to stay in her home and try to get better here and learn to be by herself. Of course we told her we would check on her everyday but Tony told her, she needed to have her cell phone on her at all times!! We stopped again this morning after the gym. Jess got here last night and they were headed home today. Lynn started to cry and said she didn't want to be alone. Again, we told her, we would check on her daily but of course, we can't stay with her 24/7. Then we left to go home to get ready to take Hawkins to lunch. She called shortly after we left, and said she'd changed her mind again and decided to go home with the kids. They would drop her off at Debbie's. I'm glad she will be with someone 24/7 till she is back to 100%. It is impossible for us to be with her at all times.
We met Hawkins at SMOKEY MOUNTAIN PIZZA for lunch and a good visit before he heads back to Pocatello to finish school. He has really done well for himself. He is a sharp young man and he has a great job at the INL and hopes to get on permanently eventually. I think he will. He puts his nose to the grindstone and does what he needs to, and gets the job done. We had a great visit. It's so much easier to get him to open up when it's one on one.
LOVE THAT BOY!!~
We went back to Lynn's to give Diane the recipe for the
"GINGER SHOT" before they took off. We said our goodbyes to the 3 of them and we came home.
I see my daffodils are coming up. It's been such a weird winter. Here it is January 9th and still no snow. Hope it's snowing in the mountains. We came in and Tony got some temple names ready for Diane to stop by and pick up. She did.
So I got a picture of the 2 of them
So, I started another blanket. Got yarn to use up so why not.
Going to bed early tonight so we can work at the temple in the morning.
WE'RE GETTING THERE!!
